How to Take Vapofil: The Label Directions, Simply Put

By the Vapofil Editorial Desk · Last updated October 29, 2026 · how we check facts

Per the label, take two Vapofil capsules daily with an 8 oz glass of water.

A bottle holds sixty capsules, so it lasts thirty days. The label gives no guidance on timing, food or how long to continue.

If you take other pills, see who should ask a clinician first.

The Vapofil label says: “As a dietary supplement, take two (2) capsules daily with an 8 oz. glass of water.” That is the entire instruction. Sixty capsules a bottle at two a day is thirty days. The label adds no guidance on timing, on food, or on how long to continue.

Eight steps, start to finish

  1. Take two capsules a day with water

The label’s whole instruction is: “As a dietary supplement, take two (2) capsules daily with an 8 oz. glass of water.” There is no morning-or-evening guidance, no with-food guidance and no cycling advice, so anything of that kind you read elsewhere came from somewhere other than this bottle.

  2. Check your prescriptions against two ingredients first

This is the step that could matter to your health. Memorial Sloan Kettering lists nettle as a do-not-take with CYP450 substrate drugs and with diuretics or blood pressure medicines, and epimedium as a do-not-take with heart disease, with CYP3A4 substrates and with aromatase inhibitors. Neither flag is anywhere on this bottle. The amounts here are small, but your prescriber should be the one who decides that, not us.

  3. If you take a nitrate, read the FDA section before you buy anything in this aisle

Not because of this product — nothing about Vapofil suggests it belongs in the FDA’s tainted-products database. Because the category as a whole is the one the FDA warns about, the hidden ingredient is usually sildenafil, and sildenafil with a nitrate is the combination that causes real harm. The section is further down this page.

  4. Do not take four

The caution is explicit: “Do not exceed recommended dose.” Two capsules is the serving the panel is built on, and every figure on this site — including the 118 mg and the 1 mg of boron — is per two capsules, not per capsule.

  5. Check the seal before the first one

“DO NOT USE IF SAFETY SEAL IS DAMAGED OR MISSING.” Straightforward, and worth the two seconds.

  6. Store it cool, dry and out of the light

The label says: “Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness.” A cupboard is right. A bathroom shelf and a car glovebox are the two worst places, for humidity and for heat.

  7. Keep the order email, because the window is real and it is 60 days

This is the first product this desk has covered with a published return window, and a window is only useful if you can prove the purchase date. Put the confirmation somewhere you will find it. Thirty days of capsules inside a sixty-day window means you can finish a bottle and still be covered.

  8. Judge it over one bottle, and write down the boring things

Thirty days is one bottle and one clean test. Sleep, stress, alcohol and the state of a relationship all move the thing this product is sold for, and they move it further than 118 mg of botanical extract plausibly can. Note them as you go, and be ready to conclude that nothing changed.

Timing and food: what the label does not say

The suggested-use line names a quantity, a frequency and a glass of water. It does not name a time of day, and it does not say whether to take the capsules with a meal. Anything you read elsewhere specifying morning, evening, or with food did not come from this bottle.

What can be said generally, and is not specific to this product: a two-piece gelatin capsule dissolves in the stomach within minutes either way, so food changes the speed of absorption more than the amount. Botanical extracts are taken with food as often as not, usually because it reduces the chance of mild stomach upset rather than because it improves anything.

Both capsules together or one in the morning and one at night? The label does not say, and neither will we. What matters for the arithmetic on this site is that every figure here is per two capsules — the 118 mg, the 20 mg rows and the 1 mg of elemental boron are all per serving, and the serving is two.

The one timing point with a source behind it

If you take a medicine metabolised by CYP3A4 or by other CYP450 enzymes, spacing a supplement away from it is a common clinical precaution — but spacing is not a substitute for asking. Memorial Sloan Kettering lists CYP450 interactions for nettle and CYP3A4 for epimedium. That conversation belongs with your prescriber.

If you miss a day

Take the next serving as usual. Do not take four capsules to catch up: the label’s caution is “Do not exceed recommended dose”, and nothing about this formula rewards doubling.

A missed day matters less here than it would on a product with a real dose-response, and on this panel there is no dose-response to disturb. If you miss several days in a row, the more useful response is to notice it — a supplement you keep forgetting is one you are not, on the evidence of your own behaviour, finding useful.

If you are running a thirty-day trial of this product, note the missed days rather than ignoring them. A bottle taken twenty-two times out of thirty is a different test from a bottle taken thirty times, and at the end of the month you will not remember which you did.

Taking it alongside other things

Three groups are worth thinking about before the first capsule.

Prescription medicines

Two ingredients on this panel carry do-not-take flags in Memorial Sloan Kettering’s monographs: nettle with CYP450 substrate drugs and with diuretics or blood pressure medicines, and epimedium with heart disease, CYP3A4 substrates and aromatase inhibitors. The amounts here are small. The decision is still your prescriber’s.

Other supplements in the same aisle

If you are already taking a men’s formula, a prostate formula or a testosterone-support product, read its panel against this one. Saw palmetto, nettle, boron and epimedium are the four commonest ingredients in that aisle, and doubling up is easy to do without noticing.

Anything bought for the same purpose online

This is the FDA point, and it belongs here rather than in a footnote. Products in this category have repeatedly been found to contain undeclared sildenafil or tadalafil. Stacking two such products, or one of them with a prescription, is the scenario the agency’s warnings exist for.

Food and alcohol

Nothing on this label interacts with food. Alcohol is worth mentioning for a different reason: it is one of the commonest causes of the thing this product is sold to address, and it will move your thirty-day result far more than 118 mg of botanical extract will.

Storage

The label says: “Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness.” and, on the warning line, “STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE.”

  • A cupboard away from the hob and the kettle is right. A bathroom cabinet is the worst common storage spot in a house, because it is warm and humid twice a day.
  • Gelatin capsules soften and stick together in heat and humidity. A glovebox in summer will ruin a bottle without leaving a mark on the outside of it.
  • Do not decant into a pill organiser for more than a few days. The bottle and its desiccant are what keep moisture out.
  • Do not refrigerate. The label says cool and dry, not cold; a cold bottle opened in a warm room collects condensation inside.
  • Check the safety seal before the first capsule. “DO NOT USE IF SAFETY SEAL IS DAMAGED OR MISSING.”

There is no best-before date legible on any image supplied to this desk, which is on the missing list. If your bottle carries one, that date and not this page governs how long it keeps.

When to stop

Three situations, and one of them is not about this product at all.

  1. If anything unexpected happens. Stop, and speak to a clinician. The caution block on this bottle is the standard one and it applies: anyone with a known medical condition should have asked first, and anyone who did not should ask now.
  2. If a prescription changes. The two interaction flags on this formula are with drug classes rather than with single drugs, and a new prescription can create an interaction that did not exist last month.
  3. If thirty days have passed and nothing has changed. This is the ordinary outcome and it is worth planning for. A bottle is thirty days, the return window is sixty, and one bottle finishes comfortably inside it — which is the whole reason this site recommends buying one.

And the situation that is not about this product: if the symptom that brought you here is persistent, the thing worth doing is not a second bottle. Erectile difficulty and loss of desire are both associated with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression, medication side effects and sleep disorders. A supplement cannot rule any of those in or out; a consultation can.

Read the panel first, then decide

Sixty capsules, two a day, seven actives itemised and two extract ratios printed — better label work than most of this aisle. What is missing is standardisation, and two of the seven ingredients have no monograph anywhere we looked. The live price and the 60-day return terms are both on the seller’s checkout screen.
